Re-Generation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2014 by Chuck and Della Magnet. Currently, Re-Generation serves approximately 45 young adults and families who are seeking to experience the Love of Christ and bring the Kingdom to the world’s stage as an active culture-shaper, world-changer, and history-maker. Our goal is to provide these young adults with a safe place to experience God in a family-context, to discover God’s unique expression of the call upon their life to transform world culture into Kingdom culture, and to equip them with the tools they need to carry that out. Each relationship and journey is unique and specifically adapted to the needs of each person. We offer a live-in opportunity to those who need it, or long-distance communication made effective through video calls, phone calls, emails, and visits.
We are committed to a family-focused approach, encouraging life-long relationships in preference to programs that only last a short time. We want parents, siblings, churches, and friends to be a part of that process. Our aim is not only healthy people, but healthy relationships that bless and encourage the young adult, and their families and friends!
Re-Generation has helped many young adults experience the Love of God in a very unique and real way. Through experiencing that Love, many have been radically set free from addictions, lies, habits, and fears. Many have identified their gifts, talents, and desires, and their path to contribute those to the world at large. Re-Generation has sent many as missionaries into the entertainment industry, the business world, the arts, education, and the mission fields of a number of countries across the globe. Re-Generation serves as a launching point for this generation, and a family to stand beside them, encourage them, and invest in them for life.
We want to extend the community and family God has formed to an “unreached people group” in Los Angeles. We know that there is a vast percentage of the 10 million people in this city that will never set foot in a traditional church: whether because they have been wounded by the church, judge the church, or are unable to step into a church because of their active involvement in the entertainment industry, their lifestyle, or for some - a high-profile that doesn’t allow it. God has shown us that this is a large unreached people group here in Los Angeles, and He has called us to those very people. We want to make what is available in Re-Generation available to that group, as well.
As Re-Generation has grown into the non-profit it is now, we have had a dedicated community of friends and supporters who have sustained us as a ministry. Our funding reflects the generosity of those who partner with Re-Generation, allowing us to provide these life-changing, and world-changing opportunities at no cost to this generation.
Our Mission: To develop the fullness of Christ in this generation, to solidify their identity as a son or daughter of the Father, and to send them with that Hope to make the Kingdom manifest in this world, in a family of believers that see them, and believe in them.
